Because everything's better in a brioche...

They're soft and sweet, and loaded with milk and butter, and they can contain many flavors and surprises. Milk rolls are your portal to sandwich bliss this winter.

Shrimp Roll - Aria

Chef Guy Gamzu thought up his shrimp bun when he participated in an urban culinary event. Last July he began serving them regularly in the restaurant and bar: milk buns filled with hand-diced shrimp, Japanese lemon cream, and a spicy togarashi (NIS 58). Rumor has it that Gamzu is planning to open a place dedicated entirely to these milk rolls.

Spicy Crispy Chicken - Ya Pan

Yuval Ben-Neria serves two dishes falling under the milk roll genre: the Spicy Crispy Chicken, tucked into a soft milk bun with lettuce, onion, and cheddar cheese, and the Hamburger - Yaki, served insid a soft milk bun, with cucumber, kimchi, and barbecue sauce (NIS 58).

Caprese Sandwich - Bread Story

At Bread Story, brioche is treated with the gentlest of care. Their refined Caprese sandwich is prepared with a soft mozzarella, basil, tomato and balsamic (NIS 44).

Cream Cheese & Omelette Sandwich - Lachmanina

Lahmanina has the brioche bug. As if their large, shiny brioche challahs, made with French butter and milk (NIS 20) weren't enough, you can also dive into their brioche sandwich with cream cheese and omelette on site.

Thai Mall Bun - FIFI'S

This tiny Asian hotspot serves an amazing dish called the Thai Mall Bun, which includes a rich milk bun with butter, filled with mayonnaise, garlic, ginger, green onion, pickled onion, basil, coriander, chili, soy, lime, and dried and salted beef (NIS 48). Count me in!

Porn Burger - America

This American-style restaurant understands that porn sells. That's why you'll find a dish called the "Porn Burger" on their menu. Let a brioche bun with seared butter turn you on then drool over the burger with aioli, cheddar, an egg, onion rings, and foie gras (NIS 84)...Yes! Oh Yes!

Ice Cream Roll - Gelateria

A sandwich for dessert? You heard correctly. At Gelateria, they take your favorite flavor of ice cream from their daily rotating display and serve it inside a hot and fresh brioche bun (NIS 28). The amount of brioche baked on site is limited, so make sure to get there early.
