The latest newcomer in Istanbul’s growing electronic music scene, MAMA is a new venture by the people behind Suma Beach. In addition to genre-spanning club nights featuring local and international DJs, MAMA’s programme is dotted with workshops, exhibitions and screenings. Occupying the seventh floor of the famous Mısır Apartmanı on İstiklal Caddesi, MAMA commands a better view than any other club in the city: a breathtaking vista of the Bosphorus sprawling over the belfry of St. Antoine Church.
