Once owned by the Jesuit order, it is also where the mythic Carcavelos wine was produced. Now it has become a very green urban area, which keeps part of its original vegetation, boxwood - there’s even some animal-shaped boxwood topiary. Also available are tennis courts, children’s playgrounds and a pond. It’s a good place to go read a newspaper, take a nap or just roam around.
