Located next door to the Elevador da Glória heading up to the Bairro Alto neighbourhood, this three-star hotel is a stone’s throw from Praça dos Restauradores and its main tourist office. Long a scruffy Lisbon standard, albeit with friendly staff, the place has now had a complete overhaul but kept room rates reasonable. Note, though, that you have to pay to use the Wi-Fi.
There’s a small TV lounge off the main foyer but no restaurant (there are plenty of options nearby). The area can get pretty noisy andseedyatnight-time,butthehotelitself ispeaceful.
