Despite the limited display, the Costume Museum is worth a visit just to see the prettier parts of the former Palácio de Angela-Palmela. Walls are decorated with garlands and musical instruments in pastel colours, and most of the original wall tiles remain. Round the back, in a neo-Gothic pavilion, a fancy restaurant serves lunch only (96 404 1232).
