Bartô

Its full name is Bartô do Chapitô: this tiny space is actually underneath the popular bar and restaurant of the Chapitô circus school. Descend the spiral staircase to encounter anything from fado or Brazilian music to free jazz or electronica. Or someone might be reciting poetry. (Check the Facebook page.) The stage in this former laundry is cramped but the bar has reasonable acoustics.
