Gayola

The name is a punning homage to the film La Cage aux Folles ('A Gaiola das Malucas'), but this bar in Príncipe Real is far from exclusively queer. Furnished in colonial style, with old tables and armchairs, it features an installation by the artist Bassanti (Ivo Moreira) - and manages to be both cosy and contemporary. The kitchen turns out great steaks until closing time.
