Mrs. Lurdes was already famous in the region thanks to Adega das Azenhas. Her son, an eternal lover of seafood and ice creams, decided to open a restaurant where he could sell both. Água e Sal (“water and salt”) was then born, and now it is a great place to enjoy amêijoas à Bulhão Pato (clams cooked with a typically Portuguese sauce), mussels and other seafood, meat, and a fine artisanal lemon ice cream at end the meal.
