For a cheap lunchtime treat, take the lift to the eighth-floor canteen of this Cape Verdean social club. Here inexpensive, tasty African dishes such as cachupa, fish mukeca or chicken with peanut sauce are served to an appreciative clientele made up in part of local office workers. On Tuesdays and Thursdays there's live music (1-2.30pm) and the same crowd spend their lunch break dancing cheek-to-cheek to mornas.
