It is just another seafood restaurant along the Guincho road – and it is not. Beg your pardon? Well, it is a typical specimen of the area, but it is also one of its best, gorgeous and well-staffed. Really: the restaurant is beautiful (time your visit to watch the sunset from the terrace), fish is served both roasted and grilled (the latter is a spectacular live show, as it comes out of the kitchen in flames) and shellfish (both local and bought elsewhere) is of the highest calibre. The rock lobster is a classic.
Time Out tips:
– The lobster in “açorda” bread soup is a house speciality.
– The octopus “cataplana” pan with sweet potato will bring back memories of the Algarve.
– Or go against the grain and just feast on their meat dishes.
