It is at number 7 of Calçada da Mouraria, has no name at the door and is known among the locals as the "Chinese canteen". The modus operandi for making the application resembles, in fact, that of such a canteen. Go in, go to the counter, point to the ingredients you want and watch them be taken from there to the wok, from where they come scented with garlic, ginger and peppers - ask for the white rice to accompany. There are also noodles soups to sip (forget table etiquette).

Perfect for: a DIY style meal, being that you only choose (CIY?) and enjoy the result.
Must try: the noodles soup with meat.

A great place for authentic food. Don't be mislead by the simple look of the place. The food is delicious and you can choose directly from the balcony of fresh produce what you want to order. Then, they cook it and it comes out smelling delicious with scents of ginger. The mushrooms and eggplant are the best, for sure.
