The quirky name heralds a quirkier interior, with clay jugs and bunches of garlic hanging from the rafters, and bank-notes plastered on the walls. The space was once a butcher's (before 1946, that is).Steak is one of the house specialities, but try one of the more elaborate fish or meat dishes instead, such as arroz de cherne (grouper and rice), folhado de pato (duck pasty) or cabrito assado (roast kid). It's unreconstructed traditional cuisine, so come hungry.
