A few years ago, Vitor Sobral wanted to open a chef's beer hall in Campo de Ourique. He had great raw materials and a fine menu, but decided to expand the concept. He transformed the same street corner into a fish market, added some seafood-based snacks, devoted a part of the menu to marinated dishes with a touch of citrus, another part to cured fish (that almost resemble homemade tinned fish). He kept the crab legs, the Bulhão Pato clams, a grill for cooking fish and his unmissable tuna steak, a perfect ending to any meal.

Time Out tips:

– Among the classic snacks, go for shrimp, avocado and cilantro.

– Among the marinated dishes, go for salmon, passion fruit and ginger.

– All the sunshine coming through the windows make this a good spot to have lunch.
