Sea Me

Eight years after opening doors, Sea Me continues to be a restaurant where it is almost impossible to make a meal without booking ahead - unless you want to wait. All because in the concept of modern fishery that it created it includes a seafood platter, a meal of grilled fish, a sushi program or just fish and seafood snacks, from the Sesimbra, Peniche and Azores. Ah! We failed to mention that it gives a snack of oysters and white wine at the end of the day.

Perfect for: eating fish, fish, fish and then a prego.
Must try: the sardine niguiri baked with salt flower.

I got this recommendation from a friend who grew up close to Lisbon.

The place is quite big, but always full! And you can't ignore why! The food is delicious.

Walk away from the menu, and go to the stand select your fish and your seafood. You'll pay at the weight, which can easily become expensive, be aware of that.

We shared a fish at 3 and add one gambas each. My friends took some oysters which they called the best oyster they ever had.

The restaurant also have a sushi bar. We tried some. They are original and really good, but a bit too pricey.

The fish arrived grilled and perfectly seasoned with some young potatoes and vegetables. We had so much food that evening!

The staff is really nice and helpful, even if the are a bit pushing for you to take bigger fish. We are happy we did take half of the recommendation as we already had issue finishing our plates even if it was delicious.
