Madonna had dinner there one of the first times she was in Lisbon and we can only say that it was very well recommended (did she read about it here?). The artist, who is not one for great conversations and, judging by the physique, great feasts, must have surrendered to the charms of the Nunes family and left full of the good traditional food that is made here. From cheeses and sausages from Serpa to the garlic açorda with cod, from the game specialties to the Lambarices do Solar (the desserts), everything is excellent.
Perfect for: ordering a pijaminha for dessert (a bit of everything) and having an overdose of sugar.
Must try: the grandma's home-brewed broth.
