Taberna Ideal

The twin secrets of this wildly popular place - one of the first of Lisbon's new generation of tabernas to open, back in 2008 - are its laidback atmosphere and delicious grub. The menu varies daily, but you'll find starters such as mushrooms sautéed with chestnuts or scrambled eggs with game sausage, and mains such as arroz de polvo (octopus rice).
