It can be difficult to find good fish restaurants in the city centre. But Último Porto – despite the Rube Goldbergian complexity of getting there by car – solves that old problem. Located on top of the river, if you close your eyes and just focus on scents and sounds, you will easily travel to a seaside restaurant in, say, the Algarve. Everything grilled is fresh and skilfully handled by Dona Ceuzinha, a true master of her craft – pay your respects when the meal is over.
Time Out tips:
– Two outdoors areas are available, one of which is heated in wintertime.
– Permits, cuttlefish, swordfish, sardines in Summer: they have it all.
– We'd like a grilled grouper head, please.
