Pedro Matos had a dream: "Selling things that are good for people," he says as he walks along the corridors of the AmorBio store in Alvalade (there is another shop in Benfica). He points towards some of the most special products on the shelves such as 100% cocoa chocolates, hemp yogurts and coconut milk or canned petinga. "I have been a consumer of organic products for more than 15 years and I have the ambition to make these products accessible to most people." The store sells everything found in a conventional supermarket, but in a bio-version - from salted codfish to dry groceries, all the way through fresh produce, juices, cosmetics and products for children. There is also a coffee shop and an online store, with delivery service around the country.
