Mercado Praça da Figueira

A narrow entrance lined with fruit displays opens out into a small supermarket that stocks gourmet and foreign foods, plus an excellent selection of Portuguese wines. There's also a proper butcher's section. It makes for an atmospheric place to shop, under the original Pombaline arches and beams, and (a later addition) lots of azulejos.
