Holes: 18
Par: 69
A historic golf course in Portugal, inaugurated in 1929 by Fausto Figueiredo, the great Estoril promoter of the early decades of the 20th century. Here took place the first Portuguese national amateur championships. At first a 9-hole course, designed by Jean Gassiat, in 1945 it grew to 18 holes, in a renovation by architect MacKenzie Ross; it was later altered by Frenchman Jean Jean, around the time the motorway to Lisbon was built. It is 5819 metres long, and it also includes a 9-hole course for beginners.
For refuelling: as any proper golf course should, it has a real clubhouse, with restaurants, two bars and a swimming pool.
