Fabula Urbis (CLOSED)

Most Lisbon bookshops have English-language sections, but stock few books about the city itself. This little place fills that gap. As well as a fine selection of Portuguese non-fiction and fiction, translated into English, French, German and several other languages, there are plenty of glossy coffee-table tomes about Portuguese country gardens and the like.
