This year's instalment of the prestigious photography prize features a shortlist made up of Laia Abril, Susan Meiselas, Arwed Messmer and Mark Ruswedel. The socially-engaged projects include a series on abortion and a look back at Germany's 'Red Army Faction' in the late 60s and 70s.
