Homer Sykes: Before the Blue Wall

A photographic record by London-based photojournalist Homer Sykes of the Olympic site. The photographs, which were taken from the time immediately after the winning bid in 2006 until the site was closed off to the public in 2007 by the 'blue wall', record wildflower meadows, neglected sports fields and semi-derelict, nineteenth-century industrial buildings.
