Jonathan Baldock: Facecrime

British artist Jonathan Baldock drags the ancient world kicking and screaming into the present by crashing together cuneiform-engraved tablets and... umm... emojis. The artist is interested in how these clay slabs are able to communicate a message down the ages. So just think, thousands of years from now, we will still be able to solicit meaning from three hearts, a dolphin, two flowers and a unicorn (or whatever random string of pictures you just sent on WhatsApp).
