Time Out says

Born in Walthamstow in 1882, Madge Gill created her visionary artworks when possessed by a spirit guide named Myrninerest. Examples of her prodigious output now come back to her home turf with this exhibition at the William Morris Gallery. Artworks on display include a massive 30ft long fabric work 'Crucifixion of the Soul'. Neatly, the show coincides with Walthamstow's year as the Mayor's Borough of Culture, giving Londoners the chance to see that Morris isn't the only historic artist from the area worth remembering.
