Although it’s away from the ever-busy heart of Camden, Fifty-Five is party central. Its dog-leg terrace spread over a corner, the bar fills with a loud crowd of late teens here to breeze through happy hour and beyond. Two-fers are currently offered on all 190 cocktails during happy hours; no wonder it gets a little boisterous. Surrounded by customised gig posters for the Who, the Stones, AC/DC and other totemic acts, a significantly girly clientele get laced on standard mixes in an absurd amount of flavours: Collins alone comes in cherry, lychee, pear, white-peach, kiwi, strawberry, raspberry, mango, mixed-berry, elderflower and lemongrass varieties. Spirit bases are quality – martinis with Ketel One or Tanqueray – while the list of rums, tequilas, vodkas and other spirits runs close to 200. The bartenders are adept and quick; they have to be.

AMAZING cocktails and wonderful staff. We put an order behind the bar for 24 cocktails and they kept on bringing them to our table! And it's happy hour between 7 and 9! Best place ever
Fifty Fives has been our favourite place for a night out since it opened back when I was studying in Camden, whenever we come back to London having moved away we always try to get back there for a Vesta and a Barnamint Baileys
Really enjoy this bar, good selection of drinks that always evolve, food is spot on as well after a few! It does get busy in Happy Hour but it's what I would expect to be honest. Staff are super friendly and helpfull every time I've visited and i've personaly never had any issues with the drinks being customised, but iv'e never experimented by ordering drinks, decided I don't like them and then asked for different ones like other reviews on here have said, seems an odd thing to do!
All in all great bar, lovely drinks, good music, tasty food, recommend.
Have to agree with Syl's review. I dared to make a suggestion on their Facebook and was met with sarcastic replies. Very arrogant staff, which is a real shame because I love the bar (or I used too before half of London started booking all the tables).
I'm also a regular and love coming back to Fifty Five. It's always welcoming, cosy and the staff (when they're not working their butts off through crazy Happy Hours) are friendly and helpful. The cocktails are delish and I was dead chuffed to find they've started doing food, so no more having to trek off somewhere else when the hunger kicks in - or we've had a few too many. Especially in this weather. Although I'm going to brave it tonight for a lethal mulled wine. Score.
They do indeed make very nice cocktails, but their service is poor and arrogant. Although coming there regularly, I no more intend to do so- very arrogant staff, including management. If you know exactly which cocktail you want, you will be good, but don't experiment, because they won't exchange it or improve it if you don't like it, although you paid £8-£9 for it. They have very poor customer service skills while handling with any customer service matters or even minor complaints. It's very disappointing, especially for regular customers.
