Imagine your favourite countryside pub-restaurant and transplant it to the West End of London – that’s pretty much what the owners of The College Arms, an elegant wine-bar-cum-dining-room just off of the Tottenham Court Road, have done. With the charm and character of a quirky old manor house, complete with fireplaces, toile-de-jouy wallpaper and even the odd chandelier, zinc topped bar, metro tiling and a combination of chequerboard tile and wood flooring, The College Arms is utterly unique in its styling. Food is strictly British, the menu offering a comprehensive selection of home style favourites, both large dishes and tapas style smaller choices, made using ingredients sourced from throughout the UK. Full a la carte dining is enjoyed at weekends while during weekday evenings you'll discover a quality bar-menu on offer.

The pub is welcoming and the interior is great. The food and drink are unquestionably nice however the waiting time for food is a little slow. I would recommend going if you are not in a rush and you want to relax. The price is around average for a pub in central London but the food is worth it.

Beautiful interior, great and welcoming bar staff, and it's dog friendly. Best place to spend a quiet evening early in the week, or a convivial booze-up on Thursday or Friday. Store Street's got a great vibe, trees, cafes and restaurants if you want to go out afterward.

Great place to go for lunch and I've been happy the few times I've been, but once waited almost an hour for my burger, which never arrived. Would not recommend.
