This popular Pimlico pub has traditionally attracted those looking for a laugh at its many comedy nights. A relatively recent refurbishment has given the whole place a bit of a spruce up.
Food here is classic pub grub (think pies, beer-battered fish and chips, sausage and mash) but there's a selection of burgers too, with a classic burger alongside a cajun burger with stilton, chicken burgers and a 'fire of Pimlico' option with jalapenos and ghost chilli seasoning. A short list of inexpensive cocktails, decent beers on tap and recognisable wines also feature.
Recently refurbished, our drinks range includes a great selection of real ales, lagers, craft beers and reasonably priced wines.
The menu features a burger section and pub classics, sharing platters and sandwiches (not to mention a devilishly good selection of pork scratchings). Sundays are all about a revitalising brunch and a classic Sunday roast, with bloody Marys and quality coffee.
The pub has both Sky and BT Sports, with comedy (Tuesdays), live music, poker (Sundays) or simply great drinks and food.
Situated on Churton Street, the pub is a few short minutes' walk from Pimlico and Victoria Station.
