As far as locations go, The Turk's Head has got it pretty good. Not only are they a five-minute walk to Wapping station, they're even closer to Waterside Gardens, which overlooks the Thames, and they're situated on the edge of Wapping Gardens.
On warm day you can enjoy views of the tree-lined green space with a bev in hand from the cafe's modest yard. On tap they have the likes of Heineken and Carlsberg, alongside Wapping Hockey Club's very own craft beer – 'Wapping Hoppy'. Alternative drinks (hot and cold) are also on offer, along with a British-meets-European food menu.
Diners can choose from classics such as burgers or fish and chips, as well as a range of tapas and charcuterie. Brunch options are ample, too – with pancakes, eggs Benedict and like – as well as cakes and pastries.
