Delivering old-school, kite-flying, chimney-sweeping nostalgia, Disney’s improbable sequel – coming a full 54 years after the original fantasy – is a risk that magically pays off. ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ is a defiantly nostalgic musical, not only i...

Taking the old-fashioned highs of an MGM musical and pairing them with the deep lows of an addiction drama, ‘Rocketman’ is a turbo-charged rock fantasia that pushes hard against the boundaries of the medium as it zips through the first four decade...

A modern, mainstream take on Shakespeare, ‘All Is True’ offers a dream team of collaborators. Kenneth Branagh, who has done so much to popularise the Bard on the big screen and played many of his characters now tackles the poet and playwright hims...

Review by Joshua Rothkopf Arriving with the momentum that only 21 previous global blockbusters can provide, ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is the multiplex-rattling and curiously emotional culmination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – at least until the ...

It wouldn't feature in a list of greatest cinemas in the world but I can't imagine it'd make the worst shortlist either. It's small, mainly shows current, popular movies and has overpriced food and drink. If you're near and it's showing something you want to see, then it'll probably deliver. Don't go expecting the Taj Mahal and you won't be disappointed.
