This small, no-frills basement club in Covent Garden offers mixed line-ups of established circuit comics and newer acts. Monday nights feature comics testing new gags, on Tuesday it's a free impro show from Shoot from the Hip, and on Sunday it's an 'Urban Comedy Night'. And it's generally reasonably priced. See the dates below for each line-up.

If this place is a secret to many, I wouldn’t have a problem with that. I’ve been coming here for years and have seen the likes of Alan Davies, Rich Hall, Jack Whitehall, Michael McIntrye, Ari Shaffir, Seann Walsh and Dara O’Briain. All for £5 at the most. The compere’s material can be quite samey but it’s just an intro so you can live with that. Nice cosy and informal place with a cash bar and a great social atmosphere. If you’re going on a date though, I wouldn’t sit on the first row ;)

Great intimate comedy club - generally conducive to interaction with the audience and unscripted material... Was there last night and saw 6 very different and equally entertaining comics. Also - tickets and drinks are crazy cheap.

A bar, a small stage and a lot of chairs facing it.. In a basement. This does not look overly promising when coming in, but this club manages to attract a wide range of established acts and newcomers and hardly ever disappoints.
