Hansel and Gretel

A ballet ‘Hansel and Gretel’ (pictured) could unleash the twee in any choreographer, but this returning work by emerging Royal Ballet star Liam Scarlett offers an intriguing dose of ’50s film horror. Scarlett is the Royal Ballet's first ever artist-in-residence and this, his first full length ballet is a modern, dark, disturbing take on the Brothers Grimm tale. Ages 12+.
