Grand old dance institution the Royal Ballet celebrates its ninetieth birthday with a special celebratory bill of works entitled ‘Beauty’. Starting with Greek myth-inspired new work ‘Anemoi’, it works back in time through the Royal Ballet’s history, ending with an excerpt from Petipa’s ‘The Sleeping Beauty’ – which was the first work to ever be performed by the company, way back in ’31.
