The Royal New Zealand Ballet's first visit to London since 2004 will be a triple bill of contemporary ballet works from an international line-up of choreographers. New Zealand's Andrew Simmons offers 'A Song in the Dark', set to music by Philip Glass; 'Plan to A' is a piece by Finnish-born Jorma Elo, choreographer in residence at Boston Ballet and much influenced by Jiri Kylian and Mats Ek; and finally, a piece from the London-based Venezuelan Javier De Frutos, 'Banderillero', set to the music of Chinese percussionist Yim Hok-Man.
