Pop Up Festival of Stories Weekend
Taking place at Coram's Fields and the Brunswick Centre is the finale of the Pop Up schools programme, which has provided children from eight schools the opportunity to meet authors and illustrators at host venues in the King's Cross area. The weekend has a festival vibe and includes Rastamouse-themed activities in Coram's Fields (Jul 9 noon, 2.15pm, 3pm, 5.15pm), poetry with Michael Rosen (Jul 10 11.45am, 2.30pm, 3.30pm) and 'Immi's Igloo' storytelling and dance (Jul 10 11am, 1.15pm, 3.45pm). Events are free apart from a film programme at the Renoir Cinema, for which there is a small charge. Coram's Fields enforces a strict policy that only permits adults to enter if accompanied by a child under 16. For full details see www.pop-up.org.uk
