Alex Wilson Trio with String Quartet/Jay Phelps/Soweto Kinch/Kadialy Kouyaté

Impressive London Latin jazz pianist Wilson has a history of transforming sometimes cliched, salsa-ified jazz into new and uncharted musical territory. Tonight this takes the form of his new classical-tinged 'suite for piano, string quartet and kora' with virtuoso kora man Kouyaté on hand to add in some chiming melodic lines.
