These LA folk-rockers one-up Mumford & Sons by having an actual family connection in the band: Taylor Goldsmith takes vocals and guitar and his brother Griffin plays drums. Their obsessive recreation of soft, rootsy ’70s rock has driven them to record live onto tape in Laurel Canyon, and their harmonies and tales of the road betray a deep devotion to Crosby, Stills & Nash and The Eagles.
