The trio Baroque Encounter (countertenor, recorder and harpsichord) presents baroque music inspired by celestial bodies. Includes Handel's 'Total Eclipse' (from 'Samson'); Cavalli's 'Lucidissima face' (from 'La Calisto'; excerpts from Vivaldi's motet Clarae Stellae Scintillate'; and Barnabas Gunn's sacred cantata 'Sun, Moon and Stars, Praise the Lord'.
