Their accordionist is a former BBC Fame Academy winner, their clarsach player (that's an Irish harp) was a BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year finalist, singer Norah Rendell was recognised in the 2008 Canadian Folk Music Awards, and together they scooped Group of the Year at the 2012 Live Ireland Music Awards. Talent aside, the music of this Irish/Scottish/Canadian folk five-piece also effervesces with youthful energy, all of which could make them a rather irritating prospect if they weren't such good fun – and apparently they perform a little ditty called 'Reel for the Cramped Arse Cheek'.
