In recognition of Wigmore Hall's 110th anniversary, the song series 'Decade by Decade' celebrates the Hall's illustrious history of hosting concerts featuring the world's greatest singers. Soprano Amanda Roocroft (accompanied by pianist Malcolm Martineau) presents a programme that explores the rich repertoire of German song from 1860–1870, including music Liszt, Brahms and Bruch, plus the lesser-known composers Adolf Jensen and Liszt's protégé, Peter Cornelius.
