Had a voucher from my Mobile provider which made the meal ridiculously cheap. Although the fine print did not specify the manager seemed insistent we needed a reservation. We pointed out the fact the restaurant was empty and were happy to step outside and phone to make. The mussels and frites were excellent as they always are at Belgo. I can not fault the food. The manager came to our table and personally handed us the desert menu but slinked off when we declined. Not even a thank you or good night at the door. Sorry but this person caused me to leave 3 instead of 4 stars. It’s not the customers fault the deal was so cheap.

For a random walk-in-off-the-street lunch, this was fab! We were able to sit outside in the sunshine and went straight for their Moules Maranière. The waiter was a hero, the food was excellent and a boozy lunch for two with 2 courses a piece and a bottle of wine, came to £55. Not bad 'ey!

Had a quick pre-theatre dinner at Belgo a couple of weeks ago. Despite a very friendly staff and an amazing selection of Belgian beers, we haven't been impressed by the food. We had the traditional 'Moules Marinieres' which were tasteless and very small - with some oven re-heated French Fries. Such a disappointment, I would probably not coming back to this restaurant.

Came here on a friday lunchtime and was really impressed with the selection of beer and the staffs knowledge of the menu. I had a pot of chorizo and parsley mussels, with a peach beer which was great. The chips were delish too and you can always judge a place by it's chips! Good safe bet.

I was taken there as a surprise birthday lunch treat and had a wonderful time the staff were very attentive and lovely as pie and made us feel extremely welcomed. The service was on point as well and the food delicious we had the calamari and pot of the classic mussels with a selection of bread to start and I had theSticky Chilli & Kaffir LimeChicken which was to die for full of flavour and one of the nicest cooked chicken I’ve ever had. I’ve been to many Belgo’s but I must admit this is by far the best. I can’t wait for my next visit.

I had lunch here with a colleague, I had the Sticky chicken, and a blond beer, oh the beer!! Wow, loved! Usually if the drinks are good then the food is hmm, but not hear, its amazing, great spot as well on Old Compton St!!

I went here last night for the Time Out Oktoberfest event, and despite a long wait and some bad timing in terms of getting food and drink out to all of the guests, my friends and I had a blast. The staff couldn't have been more apologetic and yet still maintained a positive demeanour and they really made our night great. To top it off, the Oompah Brass band played a raucous medley of 80s hits, which I loved. All in all, a great time with great food - try the sausages with the zinger mustard. Oh, and did I mention the beer?
