We were in London for some days and we were looking for a nice restaurant to have dinner in central London. I found some information about this newly open restaurant and the pictures looked good so we booked it. The place did not disappoint at all! The atmosphere of the GBR it's amazing and very trendy. It was very difficult for us to choose from so many nice british dishes that we wanted to try, but when we finally did, we were very happy with our choices. The service was flawless, we really enjoyed some nice cocktails and indulged with dark chocolate mousse & crumble! Already planning to go back when we visit London again

I visited GBR for a breakfast meeting at the hotel and was pleased to see the new updated surroundings, a very welcome change! We had the eggs benedict which was delicious and highly recommend trying their juices which they can make to your liking. Service was quick and efficient and the hostess was very welcoming. Will be back for sure when next  in the area.

Upon arrival at the Dukes hotel we were advised to go downstairs in order to find this restaurant. We feared a gloomy basement setting but were greeted by an well lit area with only a small number of tables.

The waiting staff were very friendly and attentive and the wine menu included a number of reasonably priced wines.

We were sampling the 6 course tasting menu, as sold by TimeOut, which includes an amuse bouche and the coffee at the end.

The food itself was at a very high standard, featuring many smears, foams, and tiny tiny vegetables, as you would expect from this level of cuisine. However, this led to my partner and I still feeling hungry when we left after our meal.

I would recommend this for anyone wanting to try out a number of courses of high end food and some interesting flavour combinations. However, if you are looking for a significant meal then this is not the place for you.
