'Machaan', is a comfortable platform built in a tree from which to hunt wild game. Hunters would typically spend hours on a Machaan waiting for the prey to pass below.
As the name suggests we have raised the platform for Indian food to a higher level. It is our endeavour to offer our guests a perfect dinning experience with our charming staff, excellent service and tantalising fresh food. The rich and diverse Indian cuisine demands perfect understanding of spices and their melange for each delicacy. The rare but authentic culinary selection at Machaan is reminiscent of Northern Province and its' royal families and traditions.
The food is brought to you by our famous chef Mr Pradeep Asawa who has learned his craft whilst working for the pleasure of the Maharajas of the northern regions of India . His food is a perfectly flavoured alchemy of taste and freshness.
