We have dined at Melati many times before and tonight we decided to pay them a visit after a long time. We found the food have deteriorated a lot during this time. For starters we ordered the Indonesian soup and it came very very bland it tasted of water with some lemon we both had a spoonful and left it. For mains we ordered the lamb curry which was ok, we also ordered the fried sea bass with chef special sauce, waitress did not know what sauce this was but we decided to try it anyway, it wasn't even sauce it was just some sweet and chilli paste thrown on top. The coconut rice came very oily we did not even finish half of our food and just wanted to get out of there. The food is not even cheap there and definitely not worth the money. Would not be returning!
