If I could give 0 star, I would. This is not only the worst Malaysian restaurant in London, it takes the prize for the worst restaurant in London I have been to.

Service is almost nonexistent and when it happens, it's APPALLING.

1. My dining companion ordered diet coke, the waitress came after 15 minutes with a bottle of Diet Coke but unopened. With no glass or ice or a straw if she expects him to drink straight from the bottle. He can't anyway since it wasn't opened! It was so annoying that we had to ask her for the glass and ice.

2. We ordered Nasi Lemak which arrived COLD. I told the waitress that it's a health and safety hazard to serve cold rice. The chicken that was accompanying the rice dish was frozen in the middle! It was so exasperating at this point as we had to ask her to heat the food. They gave us a fresh order of Nasi Lemak which arrived not piping hot but just lukewarm. By then, I have lost my appetite.

3. The Mee Goreng Mamak wasn't an authentic mee goreng mamak as it was sweet instead of spicy.

But most of all, we were just disgusted by the level of service. In other Mid Price restaurants, say an Indian restaurant in Bricklane, your table will be set with napkin,  fork, spoon and knife before the food are brought out - not at Rasa. In fact, we had to get out own plate and cutleries, which is no problem but they say the provide table service and include serivice charge on the bill.

We were both so annoyed in the end and left to get coffee and dessert elsewhere.

My recommendation - avoid this place. The food is mediocre and the serive is APPALLING!
