Rossopomodoro Camden says
Want to try the authentic Neapolitan pizza? This is the right place: we employ and train only the best pizzaiuoli from Napoli: they are real artisans, who belong to the great Italian tradition of arts and crafts, passed on from one generation to the next. As in all our restaurants, we only use authentic ingredients directly sourced from quality producers from the region of Campania. Our pizzaiuoli prepare four different types of dough every day, letting them proof and mature slowly for over 24 hours to make our Neapolitan pizza light, full of flavour and easy to digest.

Rossopomodoro was born in Napoli in 1998 from the idea of three friends who thought that the great Neapolitan art of pizza making could be promoted and protected through both fanatic devotion to tradition as well as innovation in the service and offering a great experience with great ingredients.

Situated in one of the most eclectic areas in London, our restaurant contributes to the bustle of Camden Market. We’re located just a few steps away from Camden Tube station, and we can assure you a quick but high-quality service: choose between a wide selection of great pizzas, pastas and excellent Italian wines. Our friendly staff will guide you in your decision, making sure you enjoy an amazing Neapolitan experience.

Our goal is to serve the best of Napoli to our guests. We bring a slice of Napoli to London.

I recently did a pizza making course here with my colleagues, I recommend it to everyone for a team event or just an activity with friends. The guy teaching was really funny and helpful despite having no voice, please buy him a microphone, it wasn't easy to ear sometimes.

You will also be able to bring you dough home and make pizza for your friends and family the day after.

We dine in after it and the pizza was delicious, Napolitan style, good ingredients and well cooked.

I'm happy to answer you if you have any questions on the pizza making class.

I visited Rossopomodoro on Friday for the first time and had a mixed experience. The prices were reasonable and the staff (mostly Italian) were lovely and went out of their way to seat us outside in the lovely weather! To begin we shared a tasty Parmigiana and then I ordered the black ink linguine with prawns which unfortunately was very disappointing! Although the pasta was cooked well, the prawns were really chewy and overdone. My friends pizza was good, but doughy and not particularly memorable. I think we may have caught Rossopomodoro on a busy night and I would definitely give them another go. Toilet rating 6/10!

I went here because I got a voucher for a free pizza. The pizza was very good would recommend it! However, the service is appalling. The restaurant had three other tables occupied when we were there and it took a good 15 minutes for anyone to take our order. From there on the process was extremely slow. Since I was getting free pizza I didn't mind that much BUT if I was a fully paying customer I would not have been happy at all. On top of it the prices are very high and at the end of the day who wants to pay over £10 for a pizza?! For a chain not great.

Been to this place for the first time for their happy hour. I must say i was really impressed! The food is delicious and all staff happy to be there and help, there was a real happy buzz! Also they do this 241 on drinks Mondays to Wednesdays...on ALL drinks. Even the most expensive bottle in the house! Amazing value for money! Well done guys! Will definitely be back.

This is the only place I've been able to find authentic Neapolitan pizza in London (the manager is from Naples and I think much of the staff must be as well). The mozzarella is fresh, creamy, and flavorsome, which makes all the difference. The simple, classic pizza margherita was fantastic. You pay a lot more for a great pizza and a beer here than you would in Italy, but I imagine that's down to the cost of quality ingredients.

As a frequent visitor to the south of Italy I was very happy with the quality of the mozzarella, tasted very authentic and creamy. I asked the waiter where they bought it and it comes straight from Italy! overall i found the food to be very tasty and the waiting staff friendly :-)

Poor quality, poor choice, poor quantity. Very disappointed after being introduced to rossopomodoro in Milan the London branch does not compare. Lacking in flavour, lacking in portion size and for this I would expect it it to 1/3 of the price.
