Salsa classes for all levels of expertise, from beginners to advanced, cost just £5 at this restaurant, bar and dance club. Latin-themed cocktails help to ease any embarrassment and loosen the limbs. The extensive menu of tacos, tostadas, fajitas and quesadillas should set you up with enough energy to dance through to the small hours; musicians play until late on Friday and Saturday nights.

I have been there twice now and the service and the food are terrible (microwaved nachos for instance). The "DJ" does not mix but plays random songs. The bar is understaffed and prices do not match the poor quality of the drinks. However there are no other Latin clubs nearby and I believe they abuse that fact. To make matters worse, they pick and choose who to challenge at the door for entrance, they do not respect bookings and the customer service on the phone is well non-existent. Nobody is responsible for anything.
I have been to this place couple of times from lunch as its next to my office. Usually lunch time is quiet, but if you are in a hurry this is not the place for you...
Service is extremely bad. None of the waiters seem to consider us as humans because we don't speak Spanish. They left me and my friend in front of the bar not even bothering to looking at us. I've spend my life going to different high class restaurants, but I've never been insulted like this in my entire life. Horrible stuffs and extremely bad foods.
ABUSED BY STAFF!!
I'm South American and I don't recommend this place!!
Went salsa in charing cross for my bday and one of my friends was ABUSED by ONE OF THE STAFF!! literally the toilet attendant grabbed him by his arm!! shouted at him YOU ARE TAKING DRUGS!!! being ACCUSED of taking drugs?! and threaten him to call the police and the security staff!! He doesn't even smoke!! and he wasn't drunk at all we were having our second cocktail it was quite early 10.30pm
On the same night I complained to the manager (Liam) and he thinks that he's was just being over sensitive because he's just being asked by the toilet attendant!! (What a joke) Are you for real??! We were told if we kept on complaining we had to leave!! Perfect! abused and Thrown away!
Of course we left to a better place where they appreciate paying costumers!!
Did I mention there's no ICE at the bar!! One of the staff at the bar didn't know what mineral water is? Italian guy quite rude he gave a sparkling water?
Had food before it's dreadful!
The toilet attendant at the ladies is begging for tips and if you don't giver her any she's rude!!
Salsa has a major issues with costumer service, in need of training their stuff ASAP starting from the management team!!!
Been here several times the service is ALWAYS DISAPPOINTING!! But I enjoy my salsa that's way I kept coming back.. Never again though!
I'm Not coming back!! There are better places that will appreciate a paying costumer!
I go with my friend Pedro (salsa teacher in http://asbcentre.com) and... in spain the salsa clubs are diferents, the ambient, the people... I dont like it
If you want a Latin theme to your hen night then Bar Salsa might be a good place to go. If you want a salsa club then stay away. Places like this give salsa a bad name. If you are a woman you will probably get groped. If you are a man who isn't into groping and wants a dance, you will probably not get one because the women there will think you are going to grope them. I have been to many, many salsa clubs in London and over the world. Bar salsa is the only one dominated by people who have no interest in salsa dancing. I think this is the reason why it is by far the worst salsa club I have ever been to. The salsa scene is generally a friendly community where people respect each other. This is a cheesy meat market. It worries me that people who are trying to get into salsa will come here first, and go away with the impression that this is what the salsa scene is like. It really isn't. Bar salsa is the rotten apple in the barrel. It shouldn't be promoting salsa or associating itself with salsa in any way.
Congratulations to the Spanish blond girl who works at the restaurant. She is really nice, certainly the most respectful of the place
Horrible experience, rude staff, rude manager and one ot the worst places to visit. Unacceptable behaviour by member of the staff ruined my night and the night of my friends. Embarrassing moment, I never going back to this horrible place.
Bar salsa used to be one of the best venues in London for food and salsa. I have been going there for 9 years. Since the new management and refurbishment the venue has declined in quality and good members. Bar salsa is now a place for tourist and students only. So if you love nasty and greasy food, cheap but average drinks, guys that are worse than dogs in heat, stinking/flooded toilets and very very poor salsa this is the place for you! PN: Now water must be bought inside and cloakroom is compulsory (thanks to the loss of revenue the club is having!) What a pity! Cristina
Music in this place is not bad, but the atmosphere is terrible, both from clients and from the staff. I have visited this place quite a few times and over the time i see is going down every year. The last day (and last time I will be there) we were at the closing time and one bouncer, without any notice, grabbed me from the back and threw me to the street, as when someone is creating trouble, which certainly i was not. A friend tried to asked why I was thrown out, and the bouncer threw him as well. Why? we never knew... odd In other words, if you want to have a relative good time (see the word relative) but with the risk to getting into a fight (with bouncers or clientele).. go to this bar... otherwise, there are many other places in london that play good salsa.
Horrible and rude staff at the restaurant and door. The bar staff are adequate but not great.
They need to seriously train their staff about common courtesy and human decency. Not to mention, the most important part of their job - customer service.
