A lovely little place that could be twice the size and there'd still be a queue out the door, this is the epitome of a local business beautifully presented & cared for and shaped into one of those neighbourhood spots that you know & proudly take visiting out-of-town friends to. It'd been on my list for a while and given that it's only a fifteen minute walk from my sofa, there's really no excuse for how long it's taken me to find my way there but on a bitterly cold day like today, I'm so glad that I did.

Warm & welcoming service despite it being packed, I loved the laptop-free vibe and the happy buzz that filled every corner of the vintage tiled walls and book & wine bottle laden shelves. Fresh pastries the size of my head and flawless cakes that literally put my in the shade stand front & centre as you come in and there's a decent sized menu of small bites and larger dishes to pick & share from.

N'duja hash was super spicy and absolutely delicious - fiery crumbs of crispy hot sausage paste were liberally sprinkled over caramelised new potatoes, poached egg & spring onions - and an accompanying brie & bacon toastie was every bit as reassuringly comforting as you could want. Decent value for the superior quality of the ingredients and a quick but not rushed delivery of food after ordering means a visit here for Saturday brunch already has me planning when I can come back for a glass of something grapey and a plate of something savoury when the sun's gone down. It's nice to be able to support local businesses and even better to be able to do so knowing that, as here, they're absolutely worth it.

Local, laid back and lovely. Cake of the week is an absolute must! Live music at the weekends, great wine list and scrummy food. Can't say fairer than that! Awesome.

What a great place.  Lovely atmosphere, fab food and drinks.  Can't wait to return.  Would highly recommend you visit.

Love St Paul. Great spot to pop in for a easy plate of food & glass of wine, no pretences, chill vibe, great place ...

This is definitely one of the hidden gems of North London. Perfect for an afternoon of relaxed dining, and transitions seamlessly into an ambient evening venue.  Would definitely recommend for anyone in the Islington area!
