The Horse & Stables is a true London original with a friendly modern atmosphere.
First opened in the 1800’s, our restaurant and bar underwent a full renovation (and a little reinvention) in 2013.
Our new lunch and evening menus (from 5pm) now feature a selection of excellent traditional English grub and a few contemporary American classics.
We also have daily lunch specials and full range of beers, spirits, house cocktails and English ales. All of which our friendly award winning staff will be happy to chat to you about.
The Horse & Stables: An Anglo-American classic in the making since 2013.

Lovely pub with great staff near Lambeth North Station and Lower Marsh and not too far from Westminster if you need to get away from the hustle and bustle. It's not that busy during the day but last went on a Wednesday evening before a show at The Vaults and though it was a rainy day, it was busy.

This is a lovely pub, which I would never have had the pleasure of visiting if it wasn't for a great dance afternoon being held there now one Sunday each month.

A lovely space, with great old wooden furniture, high ceilings, a superbly long, grand bar and really friendly staff. I've yet to sample the food, but it looked like a decent menu with a wide selection of drinks.
