You can tell a fair bit about a salon from the calibre of towel on offer. At this swish Marylebone hairdressers, founded by Fred Gielly and Shai Greenberg, they’re as thick as duvets and the colour of caramel highlights. That level of service runs through the whole establishment, which is darkly glossy and reassuringly expensive. Cuts cost up to £165 (although you can get a junior stylist for £70), but if you have the money to spend, it’s a great place to spend it.
As well as the usual roster of cuts and colour, there is a spa-style beauty department, where you can go for a 120-minute facial, have your eyebrows threaded or treat your cuticles with a hot oil special.
Gielly Green brings together many nationalities and cultures and these diverse influences shape the styles, techniques and high quality service. This fusion of ideas and talent is accentuated by the accomplished team, many who have worked on the international stage and are known well beyond the shores of the UK.
Whilst at the leading edge in trends and fashion, the salon prides itself on listening and satisfying clients by creating effortless and wearable hair with artistic and creative flair that never goes out of style. The energetic and creative environment of Gielly Green with the understated sophistication it exudes, really does offer the very best in hair and beauty that London currently provides.
The ethos of Gielly Green is to provide a haven of indulgent satisfaction - a place to soothe the mind, the body and soul.

Very friendly relaxing salon! Michele can do everything from great colouring to fab cuts and conditioning treatments. Thoroughly recommend! The juniors who work really hard providing coffee and washing hair are great too!!
Amazed these people are still in business. I asked for subtle highlights and a trim. They cut two INCHES off and the highlights are totally obvious. I raised it timidly with the stylist but they just told me "you look great" like I'm a bimbo. My husband thinks I should have made more of a scene but it's done now - what's the point. I do feel like an idiot for paying their eye watering bill....
Best salon, hands down. I always leave with glossy, bouncing hair and a smile on my face. Gielly Green is chic and elegant but comfortable and welcoming at the same time. Everyone should have a little Gielly Green in their lives!
Went there recently to get my hair cut, amazing experience, full laid down washing basins and they have they own hair products range that's smells sooo nice! I'm very happy with the cut and will definitely come back! Highly recommended. Ps. Coffee tasted nice...
I visited for a cut and blow dry, I had such a relaxing experience. The head massage I received after my Shampoo was amazing! I will be returning and will also be suggesting to friends and family.
Customer service is of the highest standard here. The Hair stylist's and Beautician's are fabulous, I always leave Gielly Green with a smile on my face.
I came into this beautiful salon and was greeted by the most friendly and loveable staff. all the staff were very efficient with providing me with drinks and I could even order my lunch from Souli and eat it in the salon. after having many previous bad experiences elsewhere I was completely satisfied with the haircut William provided me. I will definitely be coming back to this amazingly friendly salon.
My favourite salon in London, and I've tried quite a few! Chic, peaceful, warm and welcoming are just a few adjectives that spring to mind. Laurent is a creative genius and does the best balyage in the business, as well as fuss-free cuts and big, bouncy blow drys! Can't fault the salon at all, and highly recommend to anyone and everyone who will listen!
I'm so happy to find them and it is defiantly the most luxurious salon in London!!!! after trying their product range i got addicted to the repair mask! highly recommend!
I highly recommend this place! if you want to feel like a princess for the day this is the place - beautiful place, excellent pampering service and very professional hair dressers- especially shai who is an hair artist !!! Big like!!
Because Gielly Green is THE place that makes me feel spiceal and beautiful and for us ladies it is precious ❤️ I love Gielly Green!!
Gorgeous salon, lovely staff and products that smell good enough to eat. Gielly Green is dripping with luxury but doesn't make you feel like you're on ceremony. Birthday vouchers are a nice touch too!
Utterly wonderful. Great service. The beauty salon downstairs is amazing as well - by far the best wax in London. I refuse to go anywhere else.
After 20 years of going to top hair salons and having them ruin my hair with bad colour I always lived in hope. I found it with Gielly Green their junior colourist new straight away that the highlights didn’t suit my skin tone then highlighted my hair perfectly and have me a glamorous blow dry. If she is anything to go by then the rest of the staff must also be amazing. I will be entrusting them with my hair from now onwards. Thank you Tanya!
Gielly Green is fantastic. Fred is wonderful. I would never go anywhere else again. He always makes me feel beautiful and my hair glamorous. The Gielly Green products smell wonderful and make your hair fair incrediblly soft and manageable.
Fred Gielly is fantastic. The salon is very upscale and sophisticated. For those who want to avoid having their hair razored to within an inch of its life by the plethora of untalented stylists whose vocabulary consists of a few words such as 'wow, amazing, fabulous' mostly when describing themselves and their perceived talent. He is well worth his fee and the haircut really lasts.
